On the 14th and 15th of May, after traveling for 4 hours on a dirt road, we, Pastorinhas Sisters from the community of Adrianópolis/PR, arrived at Quilombo do Varzeão. Welcoming people and a wonderful landscape. We stayed at the house of the couple Claudinei and Eliane. It felt like we were at home.
In the afternoon, we met with the Associates of the Quilombola Association. The conversation and debate was about the conquest of the territory, which today is in the power of third parties. It is pleasant to feel that the people, despite the distances, the difficulties of getting around and the neglect of the public power, have the hope and certainty that one day they will have their territory back. It's everyone's feeling and hope!
