On July 8, 2024, at the regional headquarters in Gilum-dong, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the religious profession of Sr. HAN Teresa Na Im and Sr. CHAE M. Silvia Kum Heui with the Holy Mass presided by Fr. Sebastian Lee, provincial of the Society of St. Paul and concelebrated by Fr. Mosè Han, ssp.
These two sisters, who 25 years ago professed their "Yes" before Jesus the Good Shepherd and the sisters of the Congregation, have walked the path of religious life in these years, looking to Him.
All the sisters of the Korea Region participated in the Eucharistic Celebration with great joy, thanking God for all the graces He has granted them along the way.
During the Mass, each one read and offered a letter that she had written to God. The two sisters thanked the Lord for what He allowed them to experience: the love of God in the parish and in the community, where the Lord makes himself present, and to live the pastoral mission among the people of God in collaboration with the Pastors of the Church. They also expressed gratitude to all the sisters who have always accompanied them with love and support.
After the Mass we had lunch together and all the communities presented songs, dances and poems that they had prepared for the occasion. It was a moment of celebration in which we could feel the sense of unity and the joy of being together.
It was an opportunity for all the sisters of the Region to thank the Lord for having called and guided them as Pastorelle and in particular for the faithfulness to the vocation of Sr. HAN Teresa Na Im and Sr. CHAE M. Silvia Kum Heui. We wish them and all the Pastorelle a journey full of joy and blessing.
