On September 11 and 12, 2025, we, the Little Pastor Sisters, attended the 2nd Communications Congress, hosted by the Conference of Religious of Brazil (CRB Nacional), coordinated by Sister Neusa Santos, Communications Advisor. With the theme "Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and Institutional Strategies in the Service of Mission," the event brought together religious leaders, communicators, and experts to discuss communication in the context of consecrated life and society. It took place at Santa Marcelina College in Perdizes, São Paulo.

After welcoming participants and institutions, Sister Maria do Disterro, president of the National CRB, highlighted communication as a tool for evangelization and the presence of Consecrated Religious Life.
The first day was followed by the scheduled lectures, which were very meaningful and helped foster reflection and deeper understanding of the topic:
Dr. Natasa Govekar, Theological Director of the Vatican's Dicastery for Communication, presented the theme: "Between Heaven and Earth, a Christian Hope in the World";
Dr. Kleberson M. Rodrigues, on the role of leadership in the digital world;
Sister Nina Krapić, a Vatican communications specialist and doctoral candidate in social communication at the Pontifical Gregorian University, presented a very interesting topic: Discernment of Consecrated Life in Digital Media, an important moment to reflect on how to communicate authentically and responsibly;
M.E. Paulo Moregola spoke about strategic communication, addressing the challenges of aligning the mission of congregations and institutions with communication practices.
On the second day, we began with the Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Father Rafael Lopez Villasenor, national secretary of the Pontifical Mission Societies. The lectures planned for the day followed:
Dr. Aleluia Heringer addressed the topic: Climate Emergencies, Communication Strategies for Building a Sustainable Future. She encouraged us to use the media to raise awareness about climate issues, as it is necessary to care for our Common Home and collaborate to empower people to gain knowledge and initiatives.
Dr. Lindolfo de Alexandre Souza, Dean of the School of Language and Communication at PUC-Campinas, presented the topic: Language in the Construction of Institutional Narratives.
Dr. Rosângela Florczak spoke about Crisis Management in Digital Communication in Religious Institutions.
Ms. Maria Cristina Machado Domingues spoke about the benefits and challenges of artificial intelligence.
The Congress was permeated by several narratives of hope (Hopetelling Projects), which helped us to understand how concrete initiatives can highlight positive aspects, even in difficult contexts.
It was an important and significant event, where we were able to meet people from various parts of Brazil and other nationalities, and gain more knowledge about innovation, strategies, and, above all, interrelational communication.
