On August 24, 2025, at the São Frei Pio Community, part of the Immaculate Conception Parish – Caxias do Sul, RS, seven new altar servers said their "Here I am."

We, the Pastorelle Sisters, have been working in this community for a long time, helping with leadership development and various ministries, including the Altar Servers' Ministry. Preparation and meetings with the altar servers take place on Saturdays, every two weeks, when we help them understand the mission of serving at the altar, the importance of celebrating faith, and living out a life of self-giving and service from childhood. After the meeting, there is always a moment of relaxation, with games and fellowship.

At this Eucharistic Celebration, so significant because it is the weekend of lay vocations, this beautiful commitment took place, attended by Friar Irineu Trentin, OFMcap, who presided over the celebration, the Pastorelle Sisters, the laywoman Vitória, who assists in this ministry, the altar servers' parents, and the community in general.

The community now has 10 altar servers. We pray to God that they may persevere in the joy of service.
