On the morning of Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Aparecida Seminary in Caxias do Sul/RS, the Vocations Ministry held a training meeting with advisor Patrícia Teixeira (PUCRS), on Life Project and Vocations. Sr. Lourdes Motter and Sr. Ilda Conte participated, along with the vocation animators, catechists, young people, religious men and women, priests and leaders who work in the altar boy ministry.

The advisor said: “A person without life projects is a boat without a rudder.” She warned us to be very careful with futuristic life projects of the world. The Life Project is for the present, but with a vision of the future with permanent values. The Spirit still blows in the Church, which is greater than the reality that the world offers.
Young people thirst for connection, for listening, for embracing new relationships. But often they do not know how to express themselves in language. They need calm, to adjust to what affects them. Therefore, the challenge is to help them dream dreams in stages and to verbalize them.
On that occasion, the advisor also brought up the difference between self-knowledge and self-awareness; self-knowledge is “what one is, and also what one is not,” while self-awareness is “what one can become.”
Finally, we performed a task and, afterwards, there was sharing and fellowship.
A life project is life. Life always breaks through.
But not just any model of life. It is life in Jesus Christ.
