Diocesan Vocational Encounter – Paulo Afonso/BA

“Lord, send out workers into your harvest.

For the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.”

The Vocational Meeting took place from May 9 to 11, 2025, at the Glória Diocesan Center, with the participation of 22 young people, coming from various Parishes of the Diocese of Our Lady of Fatima in Paulo Afonso/BA. It was a significant event, which culminated on the 4th Sunday of Easter, the feast of Jesus the Good Shepherd and the World Day of Prayer for Vocations.

These were days of fellowship, prayer, deepening, reflection, sharing and various dynamics. The group was very attentive and lively. The meeting was led by Sister Sueli, from the Benedictine Congregation; Sister Rosa de Paula, from the Pastorinhas Sisters; by the Consecrated Lay Clarissa; by Father João and the psychologist Jhonatas.

At the closing, we had the participation of Dom Guido Zedron, Diocesan Bishop, who presided over the Holy Mass with the active participation of the youth, encouraging everyone to truly know the vocation to which they are being called by God.
