Jubilee Celebration – Pastorelle Sisters

“YES” – let it be done to me according to Your Will.

Here I am to bear witness...

On January 11, 2026, at the Chapel of Mary Mother of the Good Shepherd, Jardim das Pastorinhas in São Paulo, the Jubilees of the Sisters were celebrated: Caritas Zamonaro – 60 years; Angela Soldera, Rosa de Paula and Seli Rico – 50 years; Rosilene de Lima – 25 years of religious life consecrated to Jesus the Good Shepherd.

On this day when the liturgy calls us to pray the Baptism of Jesus, Father Valdez Dall'Agnese, ssp, presided over the Eucharistic Celebration and Father Márcio Tadeu, a communicator from Rede Vida Television, concelebrated. We also celebrate the Gift of our Baptism and that of these women, who chose the Consecrated Religious Life as a way to radically live the Christian identity and mission received in Baptism.

They left the comfort of their parents' homes, their families, to become part of a larger family, the admirable Little Shepherdess Family/Pauline Family.

Throughout their life stories and mission, they experienced many joys and many challenges, but the presence of Jesus the Good Shepherd sustained them, giving them light, strength, and courage. Reaffirming their vows of poverty, obedience, and chastity, they return to the starting point of their journey, their first Religious profession, ardently reaffirming their first love.

As pilgrims of Hope, they give new meaning to their lives every day in prayer, in listening to the Word, in sharing bread, and with Mary the Shepherdess, they say "YES" - let it be done to me according to your will. Here I am, to testify how wonderful it was to know, love, and follow Jesus the Good Shepherd, in the Consecrated Religious life in service of the Pastoral mission.

Sr. Seli Rico, sjbp
