On June 27 of this year—the eve of the liturgical celebration of Saints Peter and Paul—we three candidates, Paulo Roberto Ribeiro da Silva, Doraci Pereira da Fonseca Silva, and Maria Lucilândia de Souza Pereira, made our promises to join the Association of Pauline Cooperators. The vigil celebration took place at the Maria do Bom Pastor Chapel, located at the Sisters of the Good Shepherd (Pastorinhas) house in Jardim D’Abril, São Paulo. The Mass was presided over by Fr. Romildo Isidro Lopes Filho, pastor of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, to which we belong.

After a long period of spiritual formation, we felt ready to undertake this commitment. Amidst an atmosphere of deep devotion and with the active participation of those present, the ceremony unfolded with the serenity the occasion deserved.
In addition to family members and friends, several Pastoral Sisters were present—including members of the Provincial Council—and the promise was received by the Provincial Superior, Sr. Cristiane Ribeiro.
We are overjoyed to have made the Promise and to be full members of the Association of Pauline Cooperators. May Jesus, the Master Shepherd, bless us. We thank all the cooperators and the Pastoral Sisters for their kindness and care. May God enlighten our work and grant wisdom to us as we begin in the group as cooperators.
After the celebration, we enjoyed a delicious snack and shared in great joy.
