Inspired by the theme of National Youth Day: “Youth in the culture of encounter”, on October 20, 2024, the Little Shepherd Sisters of the Boa Vista/RR Community welcomed some young people from the Youth Ministry into their home.
The DNJ motto: "Dialogue brings us closer and helps us build a new world," inspired by the biblical text: "Wherever you stay, I will stay with you" (Rt 1:26), opened the possibility of providing a free and participatory meeting. There was a moment of sharing life and prayer, followed by a beautiful fellowship.
The meeting was very beautiful and was also a significant day for the city of Boa Vista, with the canonization of Saint Joseph Allamano, founder of the Consolata Missionaries and the Consolata Missionary Sisters. In the Missionary Area where the Pastorinhas Sisters work, there is a community dedicated to the Saint, in the João de Barro neighborhood.
