On Thursday, November 14, my book: In God There Is No Exclusion. Educating for Inclusion and Relationships, published by LEV in collaboration with the Lateran University, was presented at the Pontifical Lateran University.
With this volume I wanted to summarize, in some way, my scientific production based on a truth of absolute evidence: "In God there is no exclusion for any of his creatures", as can be seen from the message of the Books of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
The content of the volume was presented by Prof. Carla Frova, Prof. Giulio Cipollone and Prof. Paolo Asolan with the coordination of Prof. Gabriella Baptist. The meeting was preceded by the greeting of the Rector of the Lateran, His Excellency Monsignor Alfonso Amarante and by Professor Vincenzo Buonomo, former Rector of the same University, who expressed their appreciation for the work on the theme of education, carried out in these long years of research and study.
The presentation of the volume was honored by the participation of professors, students from various universities, friends and especially sisters from neighboring communities. From the conversations held immediately after the presentation, various Sisters and participants in the cultural event showed great appreciation for the reference made to the Congregation's attention to professionalism in the educational field.
I am grateful to the Congregation, for the will of the Superiors General and Provincials, for the opportunity to dedicate long years of work to research and study of the broad subject of education, as a characterizing aspect of our pastoral work.
I hope that the volume presented remains an 'open construction site' at the service of educators and offers spaces of plurality and inclusion in the field of education. Obviously, the first recipients of the book's message remain the Sisters who work in the field of formation and vocations.
Illuminated by the plural Words of God, education can guide formative itineraries declined in collaboration with the 'righteous scattered among the Nations' to build an inclusive and supportive future, beyond the fences of religions.
