In a simple, profound and experiential celebration, in front of her parents Armando and Anabel Salton, family members, several Pastorelle Sisters and members of the Pauline Family: Disciples, Gabrielinos and Pauline Cooperators Friends of Jesus Good Shepherd, Ana Paula said her yes, consecrating her life, her gifts, her whole being to the Shepherd God who called her, from the beginning.
In an atmosphere of fraternity, in the name of the Church and the Congregation, Sr. Vanda Bisato, Provincial Superior, accompanied by the novice mistress and witnesses, welcomed Sr. Ana Paula, as a member of the Congregation, in the radical following of Jesus Good Shepherd. This was expressed in the delivery to her of the Rule of Life and the badge of the Congregation. The celebration was presided over by Father Ricardo Fontana and concelebrated by Friar Marcelo Carvalho, Capuchin. Fr. Ricardo reminded us of the beauty of the pastoral charism to be lived in and for the Church, in communion with the pastors, at the service of the people of God.
The following day, January 16, at the Santo Antônio da Linha Paulina Community, Bento Gonçalves/RS, the birthplace of Sr. Ana Paula, there was a beautiful Thanksgiving celebration, presided over by Father Miguel Mosena, in the presence of the community, family and friends.
The generous rain at the time of the two celebrations filled our hearts with hope and gratitude to God who continues to sow his call in the hearts of young people and water them with his love. May the yes of Sr. Ana Paula bear fruit in life for the people of God whom she will serve in her pastoral mission.
