Studies and publications in the four-year period 2021-2025
Continuing formation “is the time of the free and unconditional gift of one’s life in the progressive and constant maturation of all the dimensions of life and of the cultural and methodological updating linked to the pastoral mission” (PGFs 108). We could say that it is the constant availability to learn from life, from every human situation and relationship, the intelligent and enterprising freedom to let oneself be formed by life and for the whole of life. Our Founder, in fact, spoke to us of studiousness, that is, the art of learning from everything and everyone. With what objective? Full conformity to Christ the Shepherd, Way, Truth and Life in us: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. This life in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me" (Gal 2:20), to learn to give our life freely, with a totally oblative love, which makes visible the passion and compassion for the people of God.
And to prepare adequately for the pastoral mission, with a purified mind and always open to the new calls of the Spirit, deepening through study is important, which helps each Pastorella in the maturation of apostolic interiority and specific competence. Furthermore, the publication of useful texts can help us to increase our formation and live our Pastoral Mission competently.
In the four-year period 2021-2025 some Sisters of the IT-AL-MZ Province have completed a course of studies, others have published some texts. It is beautiful to share the fruit of these journeys, because it could become an opportunity to arouse, in each one, the desire to delve deeper into pastoral themes, to ask ourselves where our humanity is going and to respond creatively to the challenges it poses to us today.
