The Seven Mountains of Jesus: A Journey through the Gospel of Matthew

With joy and gratitude, we present the new book by Sister Elena Bosetti: *The Seven Mountains of Jesus: A Journey through the Gospel of Matthew*.
It is a journey guided by a challenging question: "What if a key to understanding the Gospel of Matthew were an 'altimetry of the spirit'?"
The answer invites us to re-read the Gospel through the seven mountains that mark the rhythm of Matthew’s narrative: from the mountain of temptation in the desert to the Mount of the Beatitudes; from the night of prayer on the mountain after an endless day to the mountain where every illness finds healing; from the Mount of Transfiguration to the darkness of Gethsemane, where the fear of death becomes real even for the Son of God. The journey culminates on the mountain in Galilee, where the Risen One sends his disciples—and us—out to all nations. It is from here that we set out again with Jesus, who assures us: "Behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."
