Colégio Divina Pastora, located in the Jabaquara neighborhood – São Paulo/SP, is celebrating 75 years of existence, and we had the joy of counting on the presence of Sr. Aminta Sarmiento Puentes (Superior General of the Sisters Jesus Bom Pastor - Pastorinhas) and Sr. Sônia de Fátima Batagin (Provincial Superior of the Province Fr. Alberione), on a Canonical Visit to our community.
From September 2 to 5, 2022, several activities were carried out at the College:
Meeting with the Cooperators (teachers and employees), who received a message about the mission that each one carries out in educating for life and the value of working as a team, whose objective is to make everyone feel responsible, happy and fulfilled with the fruits for the future of this College.
Meeting with each coordination team of the College, who are accompanied by the sisters Maria Luiza Ramos, Maria de Fátima Piai and Marli Teresinha Zavaski. Each team presented what they are doing. It is important to note that we periodically hold meetings to program, plan and evaluate all activities:
The Feast of Mary Mother of the Good Shepherd was celebrated with representatives of the Pauline Family, teachers and staff, in thanksgiving for the journey made under Mary's protection. This devotion, as a Congregation of the Pastorelle Sisters, throughout the world is a reason for praise and thanksgiving.
Concluding these days, all the students of the College, both in the morning and in the afternoon, paid a beautiful and profound tribute to the 75th anniversary of the foundation. Joy was part of the presentations, so we praise and thank the Holy Trinity for the presence that radiates and infects everyone. We place in the hands of Mary, Divine Shepherd, every Sister who gave her life in this mission, to families, students, employees, teachers...
Loving and caring for education is our mission!
We are grateful for this time of grace of the Canonical Visit, which had strong and significant moments in our Holy Apostles community. We will continue to accompany with our prayers the General Government's itinerary in Brazil.
Sr. Maria de Fátima Piai, sjbp
