On June 15th, four months passed since the arrival of the Little Shepherd Sisters at the Sagrada Família Parish – Paulo Afonso/BA. As the house destined for our community was being renovated, and therefore was not yet fit to live in, Father José Ronnes, the parish priest, proposed that the Sisters stay for a few days in the Parish House.
During this period, the parish coordination team presented the Parish walk, accompanied us on visits to the neighborhoods and told us little about the history of Paulo Afonso. Now we live in the house destined for our community, which is still being renovated with the voluntary work of parish leaders.
The Parish is located in neighborhoods called BTNs 1, 2, 3 (Bairro Tancredo Neves), organized into four sectors and each sector formed by 2, 3 or 5 communities, with a total of 14 communities, with pastorals, movements and groups, of so that each one assumed a sector, movements, pastorals and groups.
We are on this journey of knowing, listening and collaborating in what is possible. We count on everyone's prayers, as the harvest is large and the workers are few!
