Together with the Pauline Family

PDDM CENTENNIAL VOCATION JAMBOREE

The year-round celebration of the Centennial of the PDDM included a VOCATION JAMBOREE with the Pauline Family held last August 19, 2023 in Antipolo City.

The Theme was: In the Footsteps of Jesus “Listen, accompany and announce the Word of Jesus who tells us: Keep Moving Forward.”

There were about 200 young people who participated in this Vocation Jamboree. The Pauline Family: SSP, FSP, PDDM, SJBP, IOLA and ISGA were represented. The vocation Director of the Antipolo Diocese presided the Concluding Mass.

The Vocation Director and Directresses of each Congregation, presented the beauty of the Pauline Family and the uniqueness of each Congregation founded by Blessed James Alberione. The theme was deepened Sr. M. Gemma Dela Cruz, FSP. Each Congregation was assigned a table where they displayed their brochures and other vocation materials. Songs and dances were so vibrant and the participants were full of energy and were very much alive and participative.

The whole day was full and each one felt at ease in the small group sharing. Sr Leini Margaret Billones and some of our young vocations joined me in this beautiful and enriching activity.

Indeed, the youth are the hope of the country, the Church and the religious life. With the youth, let us journey together and be authentic witnesses of the Joy of knowing and following Jesus Master –Shepherd the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Sr Lucia C. Olalia, sjbp
